What is the WTA Switzerland?
WTA Switzerland is the regional group of WTA e.V., an international association registered in the Munich Register of Associations. WTA stands for: Scientific-Technical Working Group for the Conservation of Structures and Monuments.
Experts from teaching and science as well as engineers, architects and practitioners can join the WTA as full members. Companies, authorities and research institutes are accepted as supporting members.
Goals of the WTA
The WTA has set itself the goal of promoting research and its practical application in the field of building preservation and monument preservation.
In addition, a primary task is to process and make use of practical experience in order to accelerate the application of new knowledge and technologies.
